# Information for MCF300 MCF300 is considered an advanced form with optional multi-part answers. More than one request may be required to retrieve all answers. Training is recommended for its proper use. ## Multi-Part Answers This form allows for additional information to be store manually in the Expect system. This info is stored using the sub-form designators "F!300A" through "F!300G" in the Expect system's "Text to Expect" field. In order to use these responses, the person filling out the F!300 form must manually store each of the sub-form answers in the Expect system. Please open and review the MCF300.txt file, to better understand the sub-form answers and how they fit in with the form as a whole. Here is a complete list of the MCF300 form questions that have an option for a sub-form response: Who is reporting? Relay, retrieve details with "E? F!300A" How may the managing leader be reached? Phone or alternate means, retrieve details with "E? F!300B" Type of situation: Other event, Retrieve details with "E? F!300C" Affected Area where is this occuring? Choose the most precise answer that is accurate: Retrieve location (maidenhead grid, coords, etc) with "E? F!300D" Number of unit members or representatives injured, missing, or dead: Retrieve counts (injured/missing/dead) with "E? F!300E" Report on damage to unit property in Affected Area: Specific damaged property details, retrieve with "E? F!300F" Needed assistance that is unavailable locally: Specific needs, retrieve with "E? F!300G" ### Example 1, "Who is reporting?" If you wanted to provide specitic details about who is reporting (such as a unit leader name), you could answer "Relay, retrieve details with 'E? F!300A'", then after finishing your F!300 form, you would: 1. Go to the Expect system 2. Note the date code on your saved F!300 form (e.g. #JNLA) 3. Manually add a new entry in Expect with this data: Text to Expect: F!300A Text to Respond With: F!300A 0 BOB SMITH #JNLA Allowed Callsigns/Groups: * Max Replies: 99 The person receving form F!300 would note that your answer indicated that additional information was available in F!300A, and would retrieve that information with "E? F!300A". The information would be processed as a form response on the receive side and at the gateway. ### Example 2, "Report on damage to unit property in Affected Area" If you wanted to provide specitic details about specific property damage details, you could answer "Specific damaged property details, retrieve with 'E? F!300F'", then after finishing your F!300 form, you would: 1. Go to the Expect system 2. Note the date code on your saved F!300 form (e.g. #JNLA) 3. Notice the format fo the "Text to Respond With" field. In our first example: F!300A 0 BOB SMITH #JNLA The parts of this data are: F!300A You must replicate the form ID here, so that it will be sent with the data 0 This is a placeholder which allows the text to be processed as a form BOB SMITH !!
